NEW NORMAL CHALLENGE

          Children all around the Philippines are experiencing an overwhelming despair and worry that is unique to their generation, nearly two years after the country was placed under martial law. Our children have been affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, as families continue to deal with the pandemic's socioeconomic effects, which have put their livelihoods at risk and reduced their access to basic social services.

          With each passing day, the likelihood of poor children who have not had the opportunity to attend school since the beginning of the pandemic, whether online or offline, returning to school reduces. Out-of-school children, particularly girls, are more vulnerable to child abuse and gender-based violence, as well as early marriages and teen pregnancies. Every November, the United States commemorates the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child by observing National Children's Month. This year's topic is New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan, emphasizing the importance of ensuring that every child's rights are protected and preserved despite the pandemic's limits.

          For children and teenagers aged 5, 12, 16, or 18, recommendations and vaccines to be used differ per country at the moment. It's critical to keep track of vaccination guidelines and guidance because they may change in the future. Similarly, the Department of Health recently began a vaccination campaign for youngsters aged 12 to 17. It's vital to stay up to date on the newest news, updates, and resources about the virus and its impact on children as we navigate this constantly shifting scenario. End Violence is a global collaboration that distributes the most up-to-date evidence, statistics, and information to protect children from COVID-19 and the risk of violence that comes with it.

     The COVID19 pandemic is causing havoc on children's physical, social, and material well-being around the world, with the poorest children, such as homeless children and children in jail, facing the brunt of the consequences. School closures, social isolation, and confinement increase children's risk of malnutrition, domestic abuse exposure, anxiety, and stress, as well as their access to important family and care resources. To ensure that children have access to nutritional food, are safeguarded from child abuse and neglect, continue to have access to child physical and mental health services, and can securely surf the internet, immediate government action is essential. In order to combat child poverty, policies must also boost parental employment. As a major problem for children tries to derail their lives, a more well-rounded influence that aims for a resilient well-being during this new normal is predicted to emerge.

“DAWN”

            The mother earth is our home, that sustain our life but are we living in the harmony of nature? Each eyes have the capability to criticize their own perspective, which means we live in a mindset of destroying irresponsible and care less to our environment. Why we the human is more talk, less actions?

 As a teenager, we need to be careful to our words because we might be bare our foot in the space. Actually, looking to our environment is not healthy not like before; green and clean but now; branch our trees were scattered, burning the mountains and dirty seashore- that is our big regret.

    We must think before we speak, we must choice our words and set aside the negativity brought with others. Running in my mind, thinking what excellent ways in improving our environment. In my age, I was doubt, feeling hopeless, powerless, and unable to take action nor be a leader. Nevertheless, as the time goes by, I think the ways to protect and care for the environment- the future.

    First, we must have our own initiative on engaging the different organization. Second, using the 3R’s – reduce, recycle, reuse. Third, using my ideas and knowledge to empower more youth. Last, to this in action by simply planting trees, segregate our waste and appreciate the beauty of nature. I thinks, this ways are really help to protect and care the environment because if we spread the news our community on other people will learn and analyze their action.

    The new page of calendar, will be the beginning to have a healthy mother earth because I believe that been future will be best by the young people.

  FOR TASK 12 WK7 AND SUMMATIVE WK8:

                                                     My First Journey in Grade 10

            When I enter a new journey as a Grade 10 student, I think that it will be harder for me, but this is a challenge that I need to face. This is my last journey in High school and a new journey is ready to wait me. Being a Grade 10 student no in this time of pandemic is not enjoyable as others think because of this pandemic I did not have the chance to meet my teachers, my friends and new people and we did not enjoy our last journey in High school life. In addition, I am writing the challenges that I face in my journey in the First Quarter of a being a Grade 10 and how I handle the challenges that I faced. So joined me in my First Journey.

 

    When you have new journey there are lesson that you learned and there are discoveries that you may discover. In my first journey I have learned and discoveries a lot that may reflect to myself. The thing that I have learned is how to make a blog, making a blog is enjoyable and fun because while I making a blog I feel like I discover new things about myself and by this blog I express my feelings more comfortably and this help me to ease my stress. When it my first time to make a blog about myself I feel like I express myself by writing and by this lesson I discover a new things about myself. 

    The challenges that I faced by this journey is the lack of my time management. In our house, I always help in house chores and by doing many house chores that caused of my unfinished works. It is hard to do at the same time by doing a modules and doing house chores and sometimes because of stress it caused of me a hard time in doing my activities. I address these situations by practicing a proper way of time management and when I feel that I stressed enough, I take a rest for the meantime before I do again my modules. When I face this challenges I feel like I am not strong enough while I am facing this challenges, I feel like I need to become stronger and wiser in making a decisions in my life. 

    Moving on I will be more responsible, wiser, and a stronger student to conquer a challenge that I might face in my face journey. I will more become matured student and until my journey will end, I will try my best to become a better version of myself as a student.

 “Education We Hold”

Never been too far to realize that pandemic still exists after a 2 years of our life as a student but here we are doing still our best shot to continue studying amidst with pandemic. Doubting the capabilities and resources of the government on how they give as the best quality of education with this new normal class but seems like everyone is suffering. How can a teacher teach when no board? How can a student and a teacher share their ideas with the topics? How can a student and a teacher fulfill their responsibilities and obligations when everything is virtual? How qualified the new normal class to provide the best quality of education?

    

        Nothing is impossible in a student with a dream and a teacher with a passion. The DepEd declares to have a virtual class also known as “Online class" where student and teacher will meet and connect through the use of social media and internet. In addition, there are also modular where students answer the following question given by a teacher to assigned task. Both teachers and students have to struggle with this new normal class most especially here in the Philippines our internet connection is not fast like the other country. Second, not all individuals can afford Wi-Fi or load for data because it consumed a lot and there is expiration. Third, the limit of discussion, even a teacher will explain the lesson through online there is still limitation of discussion most especially with the queries of students and sharing of thoughts. Moreover, despite of this struggles that education experience there is still the passion of the both parties to make and put the best effort to achieve good quality of education. It might be different to face-to-face classes but if we want, there are ways but if not there are excuses.

Life is too short to be hard for ourselves and argue about how education nowadays. Thus, all of us our suffering but we can all pass through the struggles given by this pandemic if we cooperate, listen and do our part as a citizen, youth, teacher, student, worker, ordinary people and as individual and together everything will be back just like before.

Small are Big

           

            Thinking twice of the contributions I made as an individual to my country can never be the most but at least can help my country improve. Philippines may be a small country but millions of people are living. In addition, people of the world are facing the same pandemic and still searching for the best solution.

           One-country face hundred problems however, still they are standing to solve, give the best to lead and to save their fellow citizens. Just like Philippines, which are facing many problems just like poverty, teenage pregnancy, lack of job, corruption and many more and all are these are made not only the officials sitting but also the people of Philippines who do not give support to country. These problems have been our problems since start, but where are the actions? Elections are coming and there are many politicians giving their best shot to earn the trust of the Filipinos. Nevertheless, instead of thinking what the best leader to lead our country are, citizens are fighting social media for the one who really they want.

                The only solution to these problems, we individuals must look to the best leader who can focus and look for what for the best to all Filipinos and not just, because it is a famous on social media or people wants them. Your vote can lead to a tie, so vote wisely. Second, trust the people, who lead our country, there are many projects that leader wants to do, but lack of support is one of the problem. Lastly, be a good individual and a follower. We people can give contribution even a small way of supporting and following. No country is perfect but a people of country cooperates country will stand out.

            Good Afternoon Mr. President. I am Eleine Requilman a Grade 10 student in Ilocos Sur National High School. I hope you are doing fine Mr. President, and I want to grab this chance to say thank you Mr. President for being President of the Philippines.

    We know that being President is not easy because you have to take care of the whole Philippines. When you became the President of the Philippines a lot changes happen to our country. You have a lot of projects that build, you make the Pasig River clean, and as of now you approved the limited face to face in some other places that has a low of cases of Covid- 19, and you stop many people to use drug or criminals. I know that being President of these country is hard because other people is not even listening you like now that we are facing pandemic even you made a law or protocol, still many people are not listening you. I know that this year is your last term of Presidency and I want to know that I am so very thankful that you became a President of our country and I appreciate all your efforts to make Philippines better.  In addition, thank you for everything you have done to make our country better we will never forget your kindness and everything you have done.

            Even many people hate you will be always remember as a President of the Philippines. Shadow of Me

    “Your biggest commitment must always be yourself”. I drive myself by my own strategies like a vehicles that in every tic tack of clock it upgraded like myself that every page of calendar I change for the betterment. In every morning as I see myself in front of the mirror I always amaze and thank God for a beautiful creation he made. In every diversity human is different, I have different talent, traits, and personalities that makes me more essence into others.

I describe myself as a book that in every leaves of it there is stories and knowledge that you can learn it. As you, open the book you can see the contents of the book. In the year of 2006, Month of October and in the day of 23 a young woman was born and given a chance to explore the world. I, Eleine Tabbuac Requilman, 14 years old, a pretty, funny and cutie girl is ready to tell about myself.

 

As you walk under the sun, there is a shadow that falling behind in your back. Shadow is like my other self, shadow is always at behind my back wherever I go and even what happens my shadow is always there behind my back. I’m jolly and funny person but behind my smiles and laughs there is something that I don’t want other people to see which is my weaknesses, I want people to see me a strong woman even there is so many battles in my life I always standing and continue fighting and living in this world. I use my shadow to hide my weaknesses and emotions that I cannot truly expressed. I am scared to express my emotions and problems to the other people because I have a trauma in trusting person. In my darkest time, I will never feel loneliness because of the source of the light of the moon and stars in the skies there is my shadow that always at my back and always guiding me and helping me to overcome my problems. My shadow is the only one that I can trust, my shadow is always there since I was born, since I learned how to walk, talk and write, since I became a teenager my shadow is always there at me and when I reached my dreams and get older my shadow are still with me. My shadow is the only one that I ready to commit, my shadow will not leave me alone, and it always be my companion and partner in life.

    In the middle of the night by the source of the light of the moon and stars in the skies, you can see my shadow in every corner of myself enjoying, striving, pursuing and finding my success in life in the dark. As I go and explore my educational career and facing different battles in my life, I am stronger and full of positivity that at the end of the day I will survived with a smile on my face. Once again I am Eleine Tabbuac Requilman are ready to open the new page of my life and ready to reached my dream in life.
